Fri, 28 March 2008 Ryan Briscoe has qualified 5th fastest at the season opening Homestead Grand Prix. Fellow countrymen Will Power could only manage 21st as the Champ Car teams struggled as expected. The highest placed Champ Car runner was 15th for Franck Perera with an average speed of 209.230, compared to the Pole Sitter kiwi Scott Dixon who averaged 213.341.
